Watch Zach Galifianakis in Baskets: Season Premiere

We love Zach Galifianakis. There can never be enough Zach G in the world. So it’ll be rad to watch Zach Galifianakis in Baskets Season 2 and watch what little nuggets he will bring when the FX show premieres tonight.

The dark comedy that flew under the radar in Season 1 brings you the laughs but actually dives and wrestles with issues in a deeper way than most shows that make the attempt. LA Times buys into Basket‘s outstanding job of working through darker themes of “self-loathing, adult-life crisis and sick relationships better than much more hyped series such as ‘Animals,’ ‘Love’ and ‘Girls’.”

Save Baskets to your favorites on the StreamSavvy mobile app so you never miss another episode.

Atlanta

Here’s the thing. It’s 2016, and this year produced so much great television. It’s getting harder and harder to stay on top of watching everything. And as we move to streaming everything, sometimes the cable shows on networks like FX, get missed. So we’ll forgive you if you haven’t seen Danny Glover‘s Atlanta yet. But do yourself a favor and binge it up on the first season of this award nominated show over the holidays. We’ll show you how to binge it and then watch it when it airs again in 2017. You’re welcome.

Atlanta is an honest and real take on the rap game in the ATL. It’s the story of two cousins, Earnest “Earn” Marks (Donald Glover) and Alfred Miles (Brian Tyree Henry), as they climb to stardom in a cutthroat industry. And it succeeds in a big way with a finely-crafted and funny twist

The story begins with Earnest (Glover) coming back to Atlanta to see the stock of his cousin Alfred (Henry) rising in the Atlanta rap world. Unlike predictable, plot-driven comedies, Atlanta does an artful job of diving into its characters while handling topics like race, art, class, and identity with unique, fresh humor.

Here’s a 1-minute trailer if you still aren’t sure.

The Bottom Line

Atlanta, the FX show that premiered in September, has flown under the radar with some of the season’s big hits like, This Is Us and Westworld. However, the Danny Glover comedy about two cousins coming up in the Atlanta rap scene is a versatile comedy that will leave the award shows buzzing. A must watch.

How to watch and binge

Season 2 has yet to have an official premiere date. But it has been renewed and will most likely come back on the air during fall of 2017. You will be able to stream it live on Sling TV (Blue) or Playstation Vue (all tiers).

The first season is available for binging and can be streamed through Amazon.
