The entire first season of Sneaky Pete drops on Amazon today. A con man named Marius (Giovanni Ribisi) is on the run from a dangerous criminal as he leaves prison. To hide, Marius takes on the identity of his cellmate, Pete, from prison. Posing as Pete, he reconnects with Petes’ long estranged family. Like all families this one has its issues, but unlike most, this dysfunctional group could pull him onto a path that’s even more dangerous than the one he’s hiding from.

The backstory behind this show makes it even more interesting. A long time ago, like 2014, CBS gave the commitment to produce Sneaky Pete. After the pilot was shot in early 2015, CBS decided to take a pass on the show. In stepped Amazon, and Sneaky Pete was saved.
